Quick Pain Relief
My husband hiked 13 miles last Tuesday, November 25 with 3 friends. Later that evening I noticed that he was resting on the couch and asked if he was OK. "I've got a lot of achiness in my left knee." He couldn't/wouldn't give me a number on the pain scale (0 being no pain on up to 10 being the highest pain so I didn't push it. Instead I began doing the "pain drain," placing my left hand on his left knee. I could feel tingling and waves of achiness enter my left hand and go out my right hand which I held down toward the earth. I didn't want to hold onto any of his pain in my own body so I made certain that I was well grounded before I even began. I also called in my guides to help with the healing. After about 5 minutes of holding his knee there was no longer any tingling or achiness. I looked at him and said, "I think your pain is gone. Am I correct?" He nodded his head and said, "OK, now fix my ankle, it hurts too." So I began the pain drain on his ankle and waves of intense pain. Looking at him, I said, "oh, that hurts, doesn't it?" He nodded again. After a few more moments the waves of pain decrease gradually until there was no more. He said all the pain had left! My husband is no longer as skeptical as he was before the session. I thanked the guides for the help and we continued our evening.

Healing Touch for a stroke victim
1/3/07
Before Christmas I received an email from the Director of Holistic Services for Hospice of Cincinnati. A family had called her to request healing touch for an elderly family member. This woman apparently had had a stroke, was brought to the local hospital and was in a coma. I felt the nudge to answer this call and when I arrived at the hospital room I was met by the family including her daughter, son, and son-in-law. They told me of her condition and went I met "Mary" she was drifting in and out of consciousness. She was able to tell me that medication was provided for severe pain in the back of her head and that it had gone away. She was concerned, however, about the stroke and "living this way." She was very receptive to healing touch so after grounding myself and praying for God's guidance, I began to assess the energy field around her body. My hands met intense heat & tingling on Mary's right side especially near her right arm, shoulder, neck and head. I began to clear the field (also called the aura) using the healing touch techniques I've learned and used over the years. Much of the heat and tingling dissipated but some of it was resistent. In my opinion I believe that this resistent heat and tingling was caused by the damage of the stroke itself. I then turned my attention to providing a technique that would help Mary in the transition she was going through physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually. She thanked me for visiting and providing energy work.
On a follow up call to the Director of Holistic Services I learned that Mary's family transferred her to a community care center and Mary is still receiving hospice care.
