Last week my sheltie had his teeth cleaned. In order to do this he had to have anesthesia. I was concerned because he has
always been healthy and hasn't ever needed anesthesia. So the day gets here and I take my dog to the vet. I arrive at 8:00 am. They let me know he's in good hands and will call when the cleaning is complete. The vet assistant also tells me I can pick up my dog at about 5:00 pm. So with their assurance that he is in good hands I leave my dog and go about my day. The vet calls me around 10:00 to let me know the dog is fine and we discuss the future care of his teeth. At 5:00 my husband picks up my pet and brings him home. He is happy to be with us again and "out of jail," as we like to joke.
I get him settled and start to assess his energy field. I feel pins and needles as well as density in the field. So I began a Healing Touch technique called, "Hands in Motion," to break up the congestion which is causing the pins and needles. Now during this time he thinks I'm playing with him. "I'd love to play with you," I tell him, "but not now." Well, he continues to push his paws against my leg and rolls over onto his back!. Laughing I continue on. I do the Hands in Motion for about 5 minutes with him moving and trying to engage me in play. I mean if you could just see his big brown eyes staring at me you'd want to just hug him like I do! But I knew he needed more work so I rolled him over again and this time he actually stayed on his tummy. I then
began to balance and connect his field with the Chakra Connection. Dogs are similar to humans in regard to where I'm positioning my hands. Typically when I work on a human they are lying on their back for a Chakra Connection. But I use my intention and my hands to effect the change in his field. When I am done assess his field. It feels smooth and clear which will keep him in good health. Flowing energy keeps a dog as well as a person healthy. "Now we can play!" I give him a big hug and tell him how much I love him. By this time he is ready for a game of catch ; )
