Healing Touch and Cuts

As I was exercising today on a stationary bike I noticed that I cut my right ring finger. I don't remember how it happened! It was bleeding profusely and as I looked at it further I saw that there was a tear in the skin. I stopped riding and got a band aide from one of the professionals on the fitness floor. I wrapped my finger with the idea that the pressure of the band aide may stop the bleeding. I cleaned off the bike I had been using with disinfectant and decided to go use an elliptical machine. I had used it many times before and was confident that I wouldn't get injured using it. I had gotten cut on this bike a couple of weeks ago and didn't want to take another chance.

As I restarted my workout on the ellipical machine I noticed that even with the band aide on the tear was still bleeding.

"I'll have to change this bandage but not now, I want to workout," I thought to myself.

So I began using techniques I had learned in one of my Healing Touch classes called, "lasering and "hands in motion." With my left thumb, index and third fingers together I imagined a laser light coming from the jointure of the three fingers. I rotated this light over the cut in a random motion. This action was to break up the congestion that had formed in the energy field around the cut. I then used my left hand to move the congestion away from the finger with a cupping motion. I repeated this two more times. Then I just wrapped my left hand around my finger sending healing energy. I held it for about 3 minutes. I noticed that the bleeding had stopped so I continued on with my aerobic exercise. When 30 minutes were up, I washed my hands in the restroom. Even though the cut was still open it was no longer bleeding nor was it painful. I wrapped a new band aide around it and went on to my strength training regime.

As I'm looking at my cut now several hours later, the bleeding has stopped completely and there's not one bit of discomfort. I
am amazed at this because a few weeks ago I had cut my finger in the same way. (That bike is a menace to be dealt with!) It bled off and on every time I bumped it against something. That caused pain and a burning sensation which was very uncomfortable. I'm not saying my cut is completely healed but it's well on it's way and it is not bothering me. Although it's not a major health issue ~ one more annoying than anything else it still is worthy of my attention and help.
