Rest after Healing Touch
I had a wonderful experience receiving Healing Touch a couple of weeks ago. A friend and I usually get together once or twice a month to give a session to one another. Last time I received I went and worked out doing strength training and cardio stuff soon afterward. Not a good thing to do. I learned the hard way that I need to wait at least a day if not longer to go work out. Another practitioner friend suggested that you treat a Healing Touch session (or Reiki, acupuncture or other energy therapy) like surgery. You'd be careful and rest not doing anything strenuous. During and after the session the energy is clearing any congestion and balancing the energy field. The beneficial effects of the session work over time so resting is the optimal thing to do. You can take a relaxing walk but nothing heavy duty. As I said I learned the hard way because I did not allow the energy to do it's job so to speak and I ended up achy and not feeling well. Soooo next time I receive Healing Touch I will take it easy.
