How Healing Touch can decrease Pain caused by Trauma

I've just begun to work with a gentlemen that has experienced a serious trauma by being hit by a drunk driver. "Tom" has several broken bones, a bruised spinal cord, had a blood clot, a deep bed sore and a lot of PAIN. In talking with his wife before the Healing Touch session she told me that Tom is on several prescriptions one of which is for pain. He had been on morphine but is being weaned off slowly. Even with the meds Tom sleep patterns have been erratic at best. Sleep is so very important because without it muscles tense up which constricts circulation. When circulation is constricted enzymes and vital nutrients cannot be transported to the cells of the body. Without these enzymes and nutrients healing cannot occur. Sleep is important!

I had been accompanied by a fellow healer. When we arrived at the rehab facility Tom was lying in bed. He had had a pain pill so as he ate I explained what Healing Touch encompassed. He was willing to try it. As he relaxed my friend and I assessed his energy field and chakras. The field was not centered from head to toe, side to side nor from top to bottom.
Noting this we then began our work waiting to assess the chakras until after the field was back on his body. When we completed the Chakra Connection I checked the field and it was back and centered on Tom's body. The energy field is significant for one's health and vitality. It's can be compared to the earth's gravity field. Without gravity (and other factors, of course) life as we know it may not exist. After the Chakra Connection the major energy centers (chakras) were flowing. We then addressed his pain in various parts of his body. During this time Tom drifted in and out of consciousness. We provided him with another technique called the "Chakra Spread" which helps for major transitions and traumas. When we finished the hour long session Tom thanked us for visiting him.

After the session my friend, Tom's wife and I talked about the techniques we used and showed her how she could do some of the during the week. She was so grateful that we had come and asked us back the next week. About 2 days after our visit I called her and asked how Tom was doing. She told me that Tom had a full night sleep and woke up in good spirits! I was grateful for her gratitude but also because Tom had shown signs of improvement. Trauma can be a long journey full of ups and downs but I believe Healing Touch can support that journey. Healing Touch works over time so hopefully we'll be able to return and keep the momentum going.

Using Healing Touch for Ill Animals

My dog may have inflamatory bowel disease according to his vet. He had all the symptoms: vomiting, explosive diarrhea, edema, coughing, and lethargy. She said that his small or large intestine or possibly even his colon was not processing fats adequately and leaking them into his system. It may be a parasite or bacteria. She tested him for cancer cells and that test showed no cancer, thank God! But he now is on Prednisone to control all of these symptoms. To support him through this condition I have been providing him with Healing Touch. That and a very bland diet seem to be helping. I use techniques called, Vibrational Grooming and The Chakra Connection. These are specifically developed for animals by Carol Komitor, creator of Healing Touch for Animals.

In Vibrational Grooming, I ground myself and connect with the Higher Powers/God. I approach him cautiously and ask if he'd like Healing Touch. If he starts prancing around or seems not to want to be still I wait until he calms down. Then I mentally intend that a little bit of energy is coming from my hand chakras. Since he's a small dog I don't want to overwhelm him with the same amount of energy I would use on humans. I've tried that and it didn't work! Anyways, with a small amount of energy coming from my hands, I run my hands over him as I would if I were brushing him. It's fast and gets the entire body: head, neck, legs, torso, back and tail. Sometimes I go over the same areas which is OK. He really seems to enjoy it! He moves around as if he were saying, "more, more." Then, I may do the Chakra Connection then or wait awhile.

The Chakra Connection for animals is slightly different than I use for humans. The hand placements are different for the heart, third eye and throat chakras. This technique really calms him. He's seems to be gaining back his energy, no longer has, vomiting, diarrhea, or coughing. I hope that he can get off the medication but in the meantime I notice that he seems to feel a lot better. Just like his human counterpart, seemingly chronic conditions can be supported with Healing Touch.
